Product Overview

The STERIS Certified Pre-Owned AMSCO 400 Medium Sterilizer (autoclave) is designed for demanding Sterile Processing Departments (SPDs). This medium autoclave safely sterilizes up to 375lbs per cycle, allowing you to efficiently handle high-volume sterilization and heavier trays while meeting compliance guidelines.

  • Available in three chamber lengths: 36", 48" or 60" chamber
  • Configured with a single door or double doors for pass-through workflow
  • Install recessed in the wall or free-standing with cabinet
  • Safe and easy access to all components from the front and left side of the sterilizer
  • Real-time remote monitoring of sterilizer function and cycle parameters with ProConnect

Certification Process

STERIS has developed a comprehensive process that replaces all components with OEM parts as new, with the exception of the framing for the stainless door and the chamber, which is stripped and conditionally painted if needed. Our process extends but is not limited to the following:

  • Re-Insulate Chamber
  • Replace steam manifold
  • Replace heat exchanger Assy
  • Replace jacket trap
  • Replace pressure regulator
  • Replace exhaust manifold
  • Replace check valve
  • Temperature and pressure calibrate
  • Verify door operation
  • Check relays and contactors for arc damage
  • Replace conductivity/ float probes
  • Re-finish all stainless-steel panels or replace if needed
  • Replace vacuum pump
  • Replace water inlet
  • Replace safety valve
  • Replace jacket trap check valve
  • Replace safety valve
  • Replace feed water valve
  • Check chamber level sensor
  • Check appearance for leaks and damage
  • Replace chamber strainer
  • Replace steam baffle
