The current and former, dedicated orthopedic tables from STERIS are outfitted with a premium, Tri Layer Technology (TLT) Tabletop Pad for patient comfort and pressure management especially during long surgical procedures. The TLT orthopedic tabletop pads have minimal attenuation of fluoroscopic X-ray for clear image quality. The one-piece tabletop pads for the early OrthoVision models are available in a 2 1/4" and 4" thick pad options. The two-piece tabletop pad set for the OT1000 Series Orthopedic Tables is 2 1/4" thick and available as a set or as separate Head and Back sections.

The accessory does not alter the stated weight capacity of the table, unless the weight capacity of the table is higher than that of the accessory.
