The Foot Extension supports patients' feet when applied perpendicularly to general surgical tables. Footboards assist in preventing nerve damage and unintended patient movement in reverse Trendelenburg. When applied to general surgical tables horizontally, the foot extenders add an additional 8 inches of tabletop length to support patients' feet.
Two variations accommodate standard and widened table widths for bariatric needs. Most footboard models include a 2-1/4" TLT pressure management pad, but some can be purchased without a pad. The standard Foot Extension model includes a pair of Siderail Locks (BF133).
Table Compatibility:
BF2: Standard Foot Extension model compatible with AMSCO 3000-series, STERIS 4000- and 5000-series surgical tables, and STERIS CMAX (NA only, gen. 1) surgical tables.
